Only applicants for the advertised positions will be considered. Mechanical/Project Engineer Job title: Mechanical/Project Engineer (2 positions) Department: Development Job Group: 5 - 4 Location: Lagos Principal Accountabilities: ·

Undertake field engineering (design, construct, commission and maintain) activities in support of the two offshore assets to national, Group and offshore standards and sustain the technical integrity goals of the asset ·

Ensure that proposed solutions are technically and commercially sound and meet the needs of the asset with respect to operability, maintainability, HSE, Safety Case etc ·

Ensure that modifications, plant changes and new construction work are delivered on time and within budget to the specified quality whilst meeting HSE, environmental and societal standards ·
Ensure that the Project Execution Plan for managing and monitoring progress of the work including scheduling cost estimating, budget/cost, HS&E and quality is sound.
This must consider field and area development possibilities, risk mitigation measures, impact on budget/production targets and support strategy such as Strategic Cost Leadership ·

Ensure that contractual arrangements and execution plans developed for work implementation are robust and have Tender Board approval ·

Ensure that commercial arrangements for the design and execution of workpacks are commercially sound, appropriate for the local environment and provide value for money ·

Ensure that engineering solutions and contractual arrangements are supported by rigorous benchmarking and lateral learning ·

Ensure that execution is planned and integrated into the Asset’s 90-day and 12 month Plans ·

Ensure that local staff are mentored and trained with respect to offshore facility engineering Minimum Requirements: § BSc degree level in (mechanical) engineering, 2nd class upper. § 8 years experience in project engineering or mechanical maintenance engineering § Experience in contract management. § An in-depth knowledge of static equipment is essential – sizing, selection, commissioning, operation and maintenance. § hands-on experience would be advantageous. § Time spent working in an offshore environment would be advantegous § Good commercial awareness § Knowledge of failure investigation and root cause analysis tools would be particularly advantageous. Information Management Lead Job title: Information Management Lead (2 positions) Department: Development/Production Job Group: 6 - 4 Location: Lagos Principal Accountabilities: · Overall Information Management and controls. · Document Management, including definition of the file structure and storage/archival requirements for project documents. · Document Control (Review, Approval and Tracking), including document register and revision process. · Supervise the day to day operation of the Document Control Centre, having regard to changes in resource requirements. · Develop and implement an effective document management system to support and be supported by the following computer based systems (ASSAI, Livelink, iPMS etc.). · Establish and maintain relevant procedures applicable to the scope of work and where appropriate recommend changes. · Establish and maintain the required registers / distribution matrix e.g. Document / Drawing and Correspondence and use these to issue regular status reports to project management. · Liaise with and ensure team adherence to project procedures and guidelines. · Provision project reporting support · Produce System User guides and Work Instructions. · Audit DCC to ensure procedures etc. are providing effect control tools. · Ensure the effective implementation of project procedures e.g. Information Security / Meta Data Capture / Handover to Operations etc. · Provide training / support to DCC staff. · Provide SAP User Support to Team Members Minimum Requirements: · BSc degree, 2nd class upper. ·

Minimum 8 years experience in project information management ·

Working knowledge of SAP. ·
Must have previous Supervisory experience for client organization. ·
Must have experience and be proficient with web based electronic document management systems, preferably Livelink or similar. ·
Must have a proven track record of developing and implementing information and document management systems. ·
A proactive approach to work processes and the ability to use initiative. ·
Excellent organizational skills and well developed communication and interpersonal skills. · Competence and experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes.

Operations Technicians Job title: Operations Technicians (2 positions) Department: Production Job Group: 6 - 8 Location: Offshore Principal Accountabilities: ·
Maintain close liaison with the Control Room and perform operational actions requested by the Control Room Technician ·
Complete daily logs and carry out watchkeeping in area of responsibility ·
Carry out process plant isolations/de-isolations for safe handover to maintenance staff ·
Carry out first-line maintenance in area of responsibility ·
Endorse permits for work in area of responsibility ensuring no conflicts exist between operations and work to be undertaken ·
Maintain a daily handover log of significant events in area of responsibility and give a verbal handover to the on-coming Technician at the end of each shift to ensure safe operation and continuity ·
Complete a detailed trip handover document and give a verbal handover to the oncoming Technician at the end of each offshore trip ·
Mentoring of lower grade operators Health Safety and Environment: ·
Be fully familiar with SNEPCo HSE policies and ensure compliance with these ·
Fulfil all Emergency Response duties, as required ·
Be fully aware of the installation Safety Case Cost/Profit: ·
Monitor and effectively control consumption of materials and consumables associated with production in area of responsibility Operational Integrity: ·
Maintain a vigilant lookout for faults on installation safety systems and process plant to ensure issues are captured and rectified in the shortest possible timescale ·
Maintain required knowledge of all field safety and environmental regulations and operating procedures and maintain competency in the skills required to carry out the assigned role safely and efficiently

Minimum Requirements: § HNC/ONC level or equivalent in mechanical, instrumentation or multi-disciplinary engineering.
§ Minimum 6 years experience in offshore oil and gas operations. § Knowledge of failure investigation and root cause analysis.
§ Skilled to operate wells and facilities, § Skilled in PTW system § Skilled in Emergency Response
